There could be a number of reasons why you might want to update your email password. Perhaps you feel your current password is not secure enough, or you’ve noticed suspicious activity on your email account. It is also best practice to update your password regularly. Always keep your password secure and never share it with anyone.
Below are the instructions for resetting your password from within the webmail client.
1. Go to your Webmail login page and log in.
2. Enter the email address and current password for that email address
3. Once logged in click on the "Settings" link in the top right hand corner
4. In the left hand menu, click on "Email Accounts"
5. You should now see a tab called "Password" next to properties. Click on that tab
6. Enter your current password and then the "New Password" and "Confrm New Password" fields with the new password.
7. Click on "Save" at the bottom right hand corner. You should see a success message at the top of the page.
You have now updated your password. If you use this email account on your phone or in an email client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, you will need to update the password in those applications as well.
