Why am I seeing the Bad DNS status for my services

The “Bad DNS” status shown next to a service in your 1st Domains account does not necessarily mean your DNS is configured incorrectly.

In most cases, this status appears because the related service (such as website hosting or email) is hosted with another provider and is not using 1st Domains’ services. Clicking on the "Fix DNS" option could cause more problems. 

If your domain is intentionally pointing to an external hosting provider, the “Bad DNS” warning can safely be ignored.

However, if you are unsure whether your DNS is set up correctly, or you are experiencing issues with your website or email, it’s best to contact support for clarification before making any changes.
